Starting out CTA Manufacturing began by producing tents, awnings, and tarpaulins for Californians out of the firm's downtown headquarters in Los Angeles during 1922.

Since then the company has diverged into a US based, global production team with factoring partners in China, India, and Mexico (see plant locations). As the company expanded beyond its base in California, so did its capabilities which now include OEM manufacturing, prototyping, logistics, and supply chain management (see capabilities).

  THREE KEY AREAS

Lowering production costs by 40% is something every business wants to hear when it comes to custom sewn products. CTA Manufacturing has been able to produce similar results for clients in three key areas: (1) custom bags, (2) custom covers, and (3) contract sewing. As a result, we have been able to work in a variety of industries from consumer, industrial, medical, and financial.

  KEEP IT SIMPLE

By specializing in our core product and services, we are able to provide security, product assurance, and hassle-free delivery for clients importing sewn products outside the United States.

And we do this by simplifying the buying process for custom sewn products through handling (1) harmonized tariff classifications, (2) custom documentation, (3) import & export duties, (4) quotas, and (5) transportation to the United States.

To keep your costs low, we evaluate the specific needs of the product and then determine the best partnering factory to improve quality and efficiency. As additional support, our team carries over 60 years of combined experience manufacturing custom sewn products. Having that kind of expertise behind your product keeps things simple.

  STAYING TRUE TO OUR ROOTS

As a family operated company for 64 years, we feel it is important to stay true to our roots. That is why although CTA Manufacturing is a global company, we still have the ability to prototype, silkscreen, heat transfer, and embroider products domestically in our Corona, CA facility (see capabilities). It's one of the many ways we strive to make you feel good about your custom sewn product.
